I usually just delete all the plumbing on the valve cover. I can't feel any difference in shifting on cars with the plumbing connected, and cars without it. All of my automatics have simple vac plumbing: "Y" with one going to the modulator, one going to the VCV, and the other to the vac source. I don't have any other vac plumbing on the engine hooked up (save the shutoff of course).
