take a good hard look at the clutch fork for damage because--
This one was cut pretty badly, but also bent. Make sure yours isn't bent unusually in any way. I had welded this up and reinstalled, and I had a big difference in clutch engagement pedal height, as in everything took place less than an inch from the floor
For what its worth, I put the 4-speed that went with the fork right into service with no issues. I think you should be fine.
