The problem is that the current (longtime) trend in business creation is for a very wealthy person/people to create a business where they can pay people minimal wages for the greatest return to their own pocket possible. Thus perpetuating the top 1% and further eroding the middle class. Most wealthy people are not interested in giving back or paying fair wages, they want as much for themselves as they can get. That is what is wrong with society. When the CEO of a company makes more per hour than their average worker makes in a year, something is wrong. Much like all things, it will carry on to collapse.
