It would be a simple question to answer. If I'm not mistaken, most of the cannabinoids are oil/fat soluble. Ghee, otherwise known as clarified butter is pure oil. The only things removed are the milk solids: mostly proteins, that's why they scorch and burn in whole butter.
There is no reason in the world why clarified butter would do a worse job than whole butter and every reason why it would eliminate the browning aspect.
