When I was in junior high a friends dad died and he brought me several boxes of popular mechanics, popular science and mechanics illustrated, from the mid forties through 1963.

I read those things until I wore the covers off of them. Finally threw them all out when I moved here 27 years ago.

Great reading and a learned a lot.
