Hello Group,

I have an issue with my 82 300D, I changed the oil and cleaned up the engine section and replaced the gasket on the oil filler cap. Thought that was the issue with all the oil residue on the engine section. Now that I have driven from San Antonio to Shreveport I think that one of the high pressure oil lines is leaking, very small but still it is leaking. Maybe something has "rubbed" it raw and now there maybe a leak, not sure any of that is true but I do know there is oil all of the drivers side of the engine section and SirNik84 does not think it is safe to drive back to Texas. I am up here in a hotel so can't do anything to help but look. So need a good mercedes mechanic in Shreveport/Bossier City area so I can have it looked at and repaired if necessary. I understand that if not checked and kept full of oil and I am looking at a serious engine problem.
