I have an 86 SL with a switch by the shift lever for Sport or Economy. I've tried both selections but didn't seem to make a difference. They both shift kind of hard unless I take my foot off of the gas when shifting. Any solenoid or cable I should look for? Or should I notice a big difference? Thanks.
