#1 remove the center storage compartment between the seats. There are two screws in the forward section if you look inside. then the wood trim and plastic around the shifter come loose. then take out the two screws in the bottom of the ashtray. the ashtray ass comes out then there are tabs you push down to release the radio. If you are interested my repair shop handles the complete overhaul or repair of all becker radios as we are an authorized repair facility. Check it out at
