Just change the SSID and or password. You could also direct DNS lookups to an unused internal IP address, then setup your browser to proxy through the IP address of a remote server and it will look like your machine works just fine but no one else's will.

Verizon Fios had problems accepting my checks one time, so they cut my service by using this cute little DNS redirect. I used a SOCKS proxy to connect to a remote server of mine and I had fully functioning internet access for two months until they completely disconnected the service.
