Check your timing marks on the cam vs on the crank. If you wanted to go all-out on it we can walk you through. (Reader's digest version: Pulling tensioner, zip tie the chain to cam sprocket, unbolt the cam sprocket, turn it over until you're timed, reassemble.) $20 in parts or so, the timing tensioner is the most frustrating.

I've had good luck pulling the valve cover and working it forward/backward.
