I had not read this for about 2 years now but back in 2007-2010 some Members had said that when the installed the Repair Kit with the Valve there Pump still did not hold Vacuum.

The dissembled the V Pumps again thinking they had installed a Valve in the wrong direction but it turned out the New O-rings in the Kit were not fat enough to seal.

No one has said that has happened to them for a long time now so I don't know if that is still an issue with the Kits or not.
