By pure chance I had never driven it in the rain, in the dark, in a really good storm until last week. I was horrified, in fact I narrowly missed taking out some idiot riding a bike in the dark, dressed in dark clothes, with no lights or reflectors. I was on top of him before I knew there was anything there.
I ordered the H4s from Amazon the next day. I cannot believe we drove with those junky old sealed beams for so long here in North America. The lighting equivalent of not having rear brakes.....
