I have a VW diesel engine for a rabbit for sale. I think it is a 1980 but I am not positive. The car had AC but I can't remember if it was a Automatic transmission but I will check and get back to you. **It is a manual transmission and the transmission is still good and does go with it.**
This car was brought to a friend for a new/used motor and the owner never came back with any money, which apparently is not too unusual around a military town.
The car was finished except it supposedly only needed a "cold start module" but my friend was not going to put any more money in the repair until the owner came through since he was having trouble getting in contact with him.
My friend had to move back to NY to take care of his mom because of her health and the car body was damaged when he was hurriedly cleaning the yard at his garage that he thought he had a buyer for so the motor is available and still in the car but the car is junk.
