thanks for the responses, that does make me feel a little more at ease about this situation. i still want to here it run well again before i go forward with the paint.
once again thank you all. this forum had been so valuable to me i don't know what i would do with out this group, i probably wouldnt still own a diesel MB, for the simple fact i do most of the work myself because i can't afford shop prices.
