Reminds me of my escapades on the roof of my own dutch colonial with a 8" pitch (34 degrees). It's a full two story and the edge of the roof is at 19 feet off the ground rising to about 28 feet at the peak.

I had to do some mortar work on the chimney (right at the peak).

This escapade was absolutely no fun and took all day to accomplish a small amount of work (mixing mortar and resetting the bricks at the top of the chimney). All the time knowing that one mistake is my last.

This was 10 years ago. NFW I go up there anymore.
