NOW, pull the pan, and drop the filter, and the TC drain plug... get it ALL out,and even blow out the fluid from the xmsn (took me a minute to figure that one out!, Good word!) cooler!
when you have drained the fluid, inspect the bottom of the pan, and see what the problem is... if there is a LOT of metal in the bottom, worry. if there is a layer of clutch powder in there, (it won't be magnetic) you may need new clutches in 4th... not as expensive... if the fluid is BLACK or Dark red, it's been overheated... changing the fluid could resume gears...
