Although the various opponents of the current administration talk about fiscal responsibility and spending restraint, it appears that the highest degree of hypocrisy takes place in the Republican Party and by one of their head honchos: Mitch McConnell.

For example, Mitch McConnell got his state over $2 billion in pork spending as part of the bargin to re-open the government back in October 2013. Very shameful. It has even received its own knick-name: The Kentucky Kickback. Not a peep on the media. The timing was horrible. The amount was obscene. And, from a conservative who takes every moment to bash federal spending.

So, where is the Congressional Leadership?

Kentucky voted in Rand Paul, Ron Paul's son, who had a campaign generally advocating less government, less spending, et cet. So, how could the same voters vote for McConnell?

In 2014, maybe Kentuckians will send a message that talking out both sides of your mouth will get you fired.
Not too surprising, is it?

Mary Landrieu sold her vote in favor of Obamacare. I'm hoping her chickens come home to roost next year.
