Troy, you can purchase ammonia from a hardware store and remove the tint. I did it on our Mazda 626. It was a lot of work you have to let it 'work' with the tint, patience is a virtue in this case.
On a more selfserving note I sell a glass cleaner that I used to remove old tint from my F-150 4x4 and I just sprayed it on wiped around a bit used a razor blade and it came off rather easliy without the smell and heartache of smelling the ammonia.
