I have a complete OM603 that I just removed from the 87 300td wagon by complete I mean: (yes it is a #14 head)
- turbo
- injectors
- transmission
- starter
- power steering/sls
- injection pump
- New waterpump on motor
- the only thing obvious that its missing is the belt tensioner and some of the throttle linkages, and injector line clips (lines still there)
This motor ran before pulling but had white smoke.pulling the motor I found that the fuel lines from the tank were rotted and were pulling in air as well as the fuel has to have been many years old. It smelled horrible and had a dark piss color to it. I think with good fuel and some time to run and clear things out would really help. Regardless its all there. The car was showing 277k miles.
Asking $700obo for the whole setup, but am willing to spit the engine and trans. Just make an offer if your looking for just the motor or just the trans.
The trans is a mystery, Ive only driven the car around our property and it felt good but that's all I know about it.
