The re-programming at the Mercedes-Benz dealers is expected on these W221s. If the second owner only drove it 11K miles, there may have been no need to take it back to the dealer.

Agreed, I hope to buy this one. I wil be doing most of the maintenence myself so hopefully it won't be seing the dealear under my watch either.
