Nice one martureo!

I don't advocate your comment about steering box adjustment - but otherwise this is a nice addition to the general knowledge here.

Do you know if the second generation W126 steering boxes are of the W201 / W124 ilk (W201 steering box refresh and adjust)? If so people might come across the aluminium alloy bodied casings - which I am sure should not be fixed to the chassis with the torque specified above or in the FSM.
