Why does he say you need a new one? What is his diagnosis....the lift pump rarely just goes out...
The euro m-pump I have for my 617 has a 2-bolt flange like the pumps for the 60x... The MW pumps on US 617s have a 3 bolt flange. I have one of the lift pumps he is talking about, but I am rebuilding it using a kit like winmutt mentioned and will install it on my 603. These manual lift pumps are fairly rare here, i did find one on ebay.de a while back and almost bought it, then remembered I had the same one on my project m-pump.

I agree though, the lift pumps are fairly robust... Id rebuilt it first if it seemed like it really needed it. anoher option of course if you dont mind losing the hand pumping capability (gotta keep cranking to fill the injector lines if they ever go dry) is to use one from a 60x engine.
