The MB battery in it is 4 +/- years old.

I think I'll go with a Sears DieHard Advanced Gold AGM Battery - Group 49 for $143.99 / plus tax this time around.
It shows an application online for the CDI as Model #50749 | Sears Item # 02850749000 an 850 CCA G49.
Full replacement for 36 months.

The MB dealer is quite a bit further than my nearest Sears Automotive Center.

The MB 'white' AGM battery replacement for the CDI is MBCA member priced @ $202.00 plus tax, as an FYI.
As an FYI; the pricing of the Sears DieHard battery is available only if you prepay for the battery online/over the 800 line from Sears, BEFORE going to pick it up from your Sears Automotive Center. The savings is; $36.00 over the price on the floor. Remember, the store clerk cannot sell it for $143.99 + tax - it must be done over the Net/800-line direct.
