Thats how I did it on my w123 conversion years ago and have put over 100K on that setup. I am going to do the same upgrade on my w124 when my new clutch and PP get in from clutchnet.
I believe the fitting needed is the same for both ends, but you can verify that if you havent yet installed the parts.

I though about doing this as well, I have made -3 brake lines in the past for formula sae cars.
