I JUST FINISHED GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING
ON THE OIL SUBJECT. I HAVE FOUND THAT QUAKER
STATES SYNTHETIC BLEND IS NOT TOO PRICEY AND MEETS A C-F CLASSIFICATION. I BELIEVE IT IS CALLED 4X4 SYN BLEND. THE C-F CLASSIFICATION IS LISTED ON THEIR 10/30, 10/40 AND 15/40. I
KNOW THE 15/40 IS CALLED 4X4 BUT THE OTHER WEIGHTS MAY BE JUST SYN BLEND. THEY ALL HAD C-F CLASSIFICATION. I HEARD Q/STATE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEIR OIL IN THE 70'S BUT I AM SURE THEIR ARE NO ISSUES WITH THEIR OILS. (I WAS WAITING TO GET ONE OF THOSE "OH NO, NOT
QUAKER STATE" REMARKS)Dave
