I find it hard to believe anyone would survive a trip of any length for several reasons:

1. It's super cold, like -50 at the altitudes they fly at.
2. There's no air to speak of since this isn't a pressurized area.
3. There's not much space in the well and if you don't position your self correctly, you'll be crushed.
