This is NOT a wise thing to do. If I were the person in the beat up van, and somebody tried to cut me off in a new car, what do I have to lose, compared to Mr. Nice Car? Conversely, when I lived in Houston, my DD was a 60s model IHC pickup w/o a straight panel on it. Funny how the traffic opened up to let me change lanes....
You should have seen the cars part when I had my '90 F350 Crew cab. Big tube truck front bumper and strategically placed dents and rust really brought the stereotypical northeastern A-hole drivers down a notch. I could even use blinkers and not have them speed up to keep me from coming in!
