Edit: they just mean that you can't clear yourself from the logs on the other end of the search engines, not that the content will not be deleted from your computer. When you go to a site, you're automatically assigned a session ID along with a timestamp and IP address. You can't purge that log from someone else's system as you don't own that data. Having that disclaimer there in the clear browsing history box is very misleading.
