Cold weather tricks in Michigan:

1. Let the glo plugs continue after the light goes off (like Kerry said). If you listen carefully, you'll know when they click off.

2. Synthetic oil. Its buying me at least 10 to 15 degree colder starts

3. Park with your butt to the wind

4. Slightly depress the pedal upon cranking

5. There is no substitute for a block heater

6. Amoco premier diesel if you have money to burn
