The reality is that URO can spec parts however they wish from their suppliers, quality-wise.

Why people are so upset with them supplying to Mercedes is beyond me. The onus lies with Mercedes to screen suppliers overall, then in this case to follow up with quality control monitoring on whatever URO sends to them.
