Nik, I'd hoped to caravan down with you, BUT unfortunately it looks like I can't, cause I'll be leaving the g/f's house with her sometime Thursday in the morning and we will go down via 99 or 5, but first over Highway 88 beginning in the Carson Valley/Minden/Gardnerville area where it intersects with her house.

So we'll miss, but I hope we can touch base and catch up down at the drive.

Got my fingers crossed that you can show up - you and iwrock are my very first Sacramento area Mercedes friends, beginning with the Autumn MB gathering at the Towe Museum back in 2007!

Bring any running Mercedes you have if necessary but I'd honestly love to see the '84 300SD! guessing by now it's got over 400k on the clock - that everlasting car!
