Hello everyone. I must admit that I have not been here a while. In November I bought a 2001 Corvette Z06 and have been spending alot of intimate time with it
. Anyway, I think the 400E became jealous
. She dosent want to start right away like she used to. It doesn't seem to make a difference whether it's hot or cold. I get in, turn the key, and have to crank it 5-10 seconds before it starts. It sounds like it's not getting fuel. Once it starts, a light white cloud that smells like gas shoots out her exhaust and it runs funny for about 5 seconds. I have noticed that the engine temperature lately dosen't rise to what seems like normal operating temp. I live in Houston so it's only been like 40-60 degrees outside but the engine temp hangs down near the bottom, SOMETIMES rising to 1/4 the way. I was wondering if THAT had anything to do with it. Anybody have any suggestions?
In case anyone was wondering...at 130mph, I prefer the 400E over the Z06. Having a Corvette makes me really appreciate the quality of a MB. It's just so solid and quiet, and smooth!!!
