Maybe, I have the good or bad habit of almost always turning on my headlights (just hoping that someone will not jump in front of me since I have a dark car).
It really irritated me because it went out on my way to Florida. Still had to cover 200 miles and it was 7 pm.
The good news is that on W210 the high beams use the same bulb, so I was able to change the bulb and keep on going (with only one high beam)
