As one of the replies above indicated, these are dry, machine fit sleeves. The idea of these sleeves availability seems to be that if something catastrophic occurs, you can save the block, by resleeving the bad hole. This will have to be done by a COMPETENT automotive machinist on a completely stripped block. Don't get these confused with the wet sleeves used in over the road and construction equipment.

Are you saying that you resleeve these blocks to standard and reuse the original pistons? If so, what has your success rate been with this approach?
