I have considered it for the 80 300cd. The paint is tired.... I thought a flat black could be kind of fun for a while. I did the wheels on our Saab and they came out okay. It's nice because it changed the look of the car and protects the wheels from road salt in the winter.


Sure I would love to repainted the 80 but to do it and use quality materials would cost more then the value of the car.

The one thing that turns me away from plasti dip is the fact that I do have some surface rust. I could see it trapping the rust and accelerating its growth.
