After many thousands of WVO (blended) miles, the car will only run on pump Diesel
My bro's 1991 300D 2.5 Turbo was running great on WVO/RUG blend for thousands of miles, but now it will only run on 100% pump Diesel without issues. I/we have tried everything. The injectors were rebuilt by greazzer (forum member), but no change. Just for grins, yesterday I put 5 gallons of blend in the nearly empty tank, and topped it off with Diesel. I had to drive home at a very slow speed with the flasher on. It has very little power, and will not rev up. It idles great (and quieter), but still no power. I may have to drain out the entire load of fuel and fill the tank with straight Diesel. Anyone got any ideas? I have always been able to figure out the fuel problems over the years with the many Diesels I have had, but this one has me stumped......Rich
