As to your Q? Don't go cheap - especially on something you don't want to fail anytime soon again. Especially if it took a lot of labor or hassle to do the R & R of that part(s).
That stated........the best advise given by a fellow old car enthusiast, several decades ago was; "you need a couple, three parts cars for what you drive." He had nearly 50 parts cars on his 25 acres, most were of the brand model of the car he loved the most. It would do vstech proud the way this guy operated!
