sounds like a blower motor regulator....

...but first start your engine, turn on the blower... then back off ever so slightly on your ignition key... some times that's the issue

otherwise..there are write ups... you have to start by removing your windshield wiper... and start tearing down from there..... no shortcuts are known... it's located under the blower on the 124
