If you ever watch "Junkyard Wars" on The Learning Channel (or whatever they call that channel now) you get to see a lot of welding. I've been impressed with what they can do with what looks like a MIG welder to me.

The toughest concept I have to get through is dealing with a welding helmet. I may try one of those auto-darkening things. I don't think I have the ability to start a weld while totally blind, like you do with the flip-down helmet. Who knows what I'd be welding?
