Since the kids were little we have always gone out on Friday night.....I guess tonight is Saturday...oh well.

We went to this divey looking place in Battleground which is a small town near Lafayette called TC's.

We split a 10 oz filet. It was as good as any beef I have ever tasted. The price was very reasonable. We go there fairly frequently. Although the place looks a bit sleazy the food is so good that you need a reservation unless you come in very early (we usually do) or sit at the bar (tonight). The bartender is a really friendly smart azz.
