San Diago was already like that back in the 1908s.

Where My Mother lives there is a single easy to miss no Parking Sign saying when Street Sweeping Day posted at the entrance of the 4 Streets that go into a 7 Square Mile Housing Track.
And, on Street Sweeping day all of the Streets cannot be Parked on in that whole 7 squar miles of Housing Track.
That must be a Money Magnet for that City.

Where I live the Parking Signs are posted on the ends of each Block and on Steet Sweeping Day the opposite side of the Street is open to park on.
