I did some searching and found the two older magnets for the tranny. Then I found that the new one is now an old one.
The new part number is 000 988 01 52
Fastlane Pelican Parts has these bad boys for $4.75 MBZ OEM.
I will order two of them and be done with it. The original 169 part is something like $6 or 7. The 220 271 00 98 part is between $16 and 20. Then they all want to charge 7 to 12 dollars shipping. Still no Dealership near me so I will order 2 of the 000 988 01 52 tranny pan magnet from Pelican Parts for $4.75 each and pay about $4.00 shipping. Paid $less than $13 for both and shipping. It will get the job done.
