The switch is Ok coz I've replaced it.
However, the wiring has been screwed up by a short which i've identified.
I have isolated the clutch from the rest of the car.
Now, testing the clutch directly with +12V and the engine running (and GND connected, of course) does not produce any reaction on the part of the clutch.It still freewheels when it's supposed to lock up, right?
The 2 tiny wires going to the clutch have kinda burnt thru' though.
I'm looking at renewing these wires (+12V & GND) IF they can be pulled out of the clutch. I can't see the point where the wires enter the clutch so I'm not sure if they can be taken out (via connector, perhaps).
Would you have any idea with regards to this issue?
