In Marchionne's quest to whore out the Ferrari badge to increase sales volume, we can only hope to see a badge-engineered Dodge Dart bring the Ferrari horse to everyman's stable. As a marketing link to the Ferrari California, which is their current sales leader, and probably the model most familiar to non-enthusiasts, I wouldn't be surprised to see the new car also named after a U.S. state: Ferrari Wisconsin? Ferrari Alabama? Ferrari Massachusetts? My eyes water in anticipation.
