There is another bearing almost never mentioned..
the Pilot Bearing...
in the back of the engine.. where the tip of the input shaft of the transmission rides..
this should be renewed any time the trans is apart from the engine..
it is cheap, easy to replace...and you sure do not want it going bad and you having to pull the trans just to get to it... same with throwout bearing.... smart preventative maintenance.
