Thank you all for your advice! I am just going to take out the cats. This happened because I have a leak in the intake manifold gasket and the engine was running rich. Blew out both cats! Other than that, my car is running great finally! It is still loud with the cats the way they are but I can't wait until the weather clears up and I finally get to drive my car (after only a year and a half in the shop! Amazing what a difference a good mechanic makes!).
