Thanks for the feedback. What brand of mag-mount antenna are you using? Also, do you recall who made the AM/FM/CB antenna you had had in the past?

Depending on cost, availibility, and the ease of routing the wires, I may go for one of these options. Otherwise I'm going to see about returning the radio.
