I'm concerned the 'function' may not be adequate for a 300E. Like a 190E is lighter, so the 300E may be heavier and require a stronger shock. No other reason. And Bilstein did not specifically state that the part was for 300E.

As for OE, that's what I've been told by several mechanics. Never knew of "Boge." But will look on web/research now.

They 'appear' to be operationally good. Considering age of other parts on car.
(Ones that came off actually failed - KYBs - by leaking hydraulic fluid at 38K miles.)
