Thank you. I very much appreciate you taking the time to respond and adding the photographs as well.

If I am interpreting the photographs appropriately this unit MUST be removed and then disassembled from underneath to access those screws. Would that be correct?

Currently I am combating a hood with comorbidity of EXTREME oxidation and clear coat failure. Meguire's told me, pretty much that it could not be done and that a new paint job was required. So far I have approximately 50 hours of labor in it and am approximately half way complete. No doubt that paint job will soon be in order but it is VERY bad measure to tell a retired military person with little money and LOTS of time that something can't be done.
