Those rural departments better sweeten the deal with headhunting some repair personnel right out of the military.
Ive worked on a few of them too, and they are not fun to repair. Plus, they are pretty cramped inside unbelievably. Just imagine 4 seats at 4 corners of a dining room table someone might be standing on to fire a weapon.
